Kindra’s debut picture book, Princess Meesa, was inspired by her oldest daughter’s fascination (bordering on obsession) for all things princess related. The relationship between the main character, Meesa, and other family members was also influenced by Kindra’s own family dynamic. Important values are weaved throughout the book in such a way that feels less like a lesson and more like you’re being invited on an exciting adventure alongside Meesa and her younger sister, Millie.
